Whats up! My name is Zachary Charney Davis, a 12th grader at Mira Costa and I am part of the Mustang Morning News. I have two younger siblings named Noah and Gabriel and they are awesome. My mom is named Melissa, and my dad's name is Seth. I aspire to be a journalist. It is what my dad does and its something I want to do someday. You can see some of the pieces I have done on my work page.

During the Summer, I go to a camp in Pennsylvania and it is where all of my favorite memories come from. I don't want to brag or anything, but I was the camper assistant captain during my last year as a camper. This is important because it reminds me of how much of a leader I am, and that I can transfer that leadership into the classroom. My number one priority is making the Mustang Morning News as best as it can be, so that skill of mine is important for the class.
I also play soccer for club and for Mira Costa High School. As a sophomore, I play for the Junior Varsity team and for my club team, I play in Discovery League, which is the highest level. This is important because I am not to gifted myself as an athlete. As the only white jewish kid in my town, I have always felt that I had to prove something. This is also how I feel in the classroom. I always want to work my heart out and make great stories for the Mustang Morning News.
